The two youngest members of our family drowned in late summer 2000 after being overcome by carbon monoxide while swimming at the rear of our houseboat on Lake Powell.

It is difficult to imagine life without Dillon and Logan. And Dillon and Logan couldn't imagine life without baseball. So you can perhaps understand why our family chose to build a baseball complex in Parker as a living memorial.

Families deal with tragedies in different ways. We have chosen to focus our energies in such a way that many will be touched by our vision. The boys would be smiling!

As we began our search for the best site, more and more people joined our quest. We formed a Board of Directors and the Double Angel Foundation was incorporated as a non-profit entity. Today we have an energetic group of directors, committee heads and committee members who are supporting our efforts. Much has been done. Much needs to be done!

Never could we imagine the overwhelming support that would come forth to help guide us in our vision. What a tremendous tribute to our family; but more importantly, what a statement to the kindness and generosity that remains in the world today.

We wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who have contributed to the project thus far. It is our hope that you will join in our dream. We trust that with continued effort and spiritual guidance, all things are achievable.

God bless you all,

Bambi, Ken, Cole, and Connor Dixey
