***ACCESS TO BALLPARK CHANGED

AS OF JULY 2ND***

The unmarked road which accesses Double Angel Ballpark has closed on July 2nd. Instead of turning on the unmarked road by the electrical towers, continue straight on Newlin Gulch Blvd to S. Chambers Road (not the Chambers many of our patrons turn onto from Lincoln Ave). Turn right on Chambers Road (which is just before the new stadium under construction) and then turn left at the end to end up back on the access road to the ballpark on the right. OUTFIELD SIGNS NOW AVAILABLE ON BOTH FIELDS

Show your support of Double Angel by having a sign on the outfield fence on either Dillon or Logan Field. 25,000 people a year will see your advertising, all for a good cause. Plus, get your business on a take-home map available to everyone who comes to the park.

Signs are on a 3 year contract with one-year terms available, as we know how financially strapped everyone is.

BALLPARK FILLING UP FOR 2009

Any baseball teams or leagues looking to play at Double Angel in 2009 need to contact Field Scheduler Debbie Santy at the office 303-841-2420 or cell 303-748-9196 now with requests. The ballpark is quickly filling.

DOUBLE ANGEL FOUNDATION BOARD APPROVES NO RATE INCREASE FOR 2009

Baseball is quickly becoming a luxury and non-necessity expense for many families in this economic downturn. Double Angel wants those who love this great sport to be able to continue to play, and as such, we will not be raising rates for 2009. The Board of Directors made that difficult decision in August, even though the costs to operate the ballpark continue to rise, and operating expenses exceed rental income. The leaders of Double Angel hope that all patrons of the park who are financially able will subsidize the rental fees by donating or contributing in any other way possible.

DOUBLE ANGEL BALLPARK OPENED IN JUNE OF 2006
The Grand Opening Day on June 3rd of the Double Angel Ballpark was a huge success, thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers, participants and baseball teams who gave their time and resources on this special day. The spirit of Dillon and Logan Dixey, and their love of "America's Game," will live on in this state-of-the-art facility to be enjoyed by baseball fans for generations to come. About 1000 people filled the stands and the grounds for the opening day

celebration.

Double Angel Foundation:

A GREAT FUN FAMILY ACTIVITY ON THE 4TH OF JULY IN PARKER -- BENEFITTING DOUBLE ANGEL FOUNDATION

Bring the family, the dog, the kids in wagons and walk or run a 5K through beautiful Old Town Parker, ending with a great celebration in O'Brien Park with activities and free food and drink. What better way to spend the morning of the 4th of July than in the out of doors right in your own backyard. Plus, the organizers have decided that Double Angel Foundation is one of 3 benefactors of the event, which is destined to become an annual July 4th family activity in Parker. Sponsors and volunteers are also needed. Participants can really make a difference by getting friends and family to sponsor them. 10TH ANNUAL DOUBLE ANGEL GOLF CLASSIC A BIG SUCCESS

The successful fundraiser was due to 100 golfers, nearly 30 volunteers, no rain, 54 door prizes, 21 live auction items, 26 hole sponsors, 8 Corporate Sponsors and two Premiere Sponsors -- IREA and Steve & Sharon (Dixey) Henriksen -- along with a very generous and giving spirit by all.

New National Case Listing of Boat-related Carbon Monoxide Poisonings

Double Angel Foundation thanks the generosity of Jane McCammon and now Claire Babik who painstakingly searched records to make this Case Listing as up-to-date and accurate as possible. While strides have been made, there are still incidents -- Carbon Monoxide is a danger in the marine environment.

DOUBLE ANGEL GETS PUBLISHED Congratulations to Jane McCammon, Carbon Monixde Advisor to Double Angel, for publishing a chapter on the danger of CO in boats in a new publication, Carbon Monoxide Poisoning. Jane continues to fight our cause of educating people to this ever present danger on boats. Her chapter is a very comprehensive study of this issue and we are proud to offer everyone the chance to read it.

Carbon Monoxide Updates

Double Angel Foundation continues to work to increase awareness of the danger that carbon monoxide poses on boats. It is important to always be aware of the possibility of CO emissions whenever an engine or generator is running.

The idea to create a place for more youth to play the game of baseball, such a part of their familiy's life, was a way to channel the grief for Ken and Bambi Dixey, of Parker, Colorado, who tragically lost their sons while on vacation. Thus, Double Angel Foundation was born. The community rallied around the cause and opened their hearts, wallets and resources to build this incredible ballpark to be enjoyed for generations to come. The June 3, 2006 opening of the Double Angel Ballpark is proof positive that good can come from loss, and it also shows what can be done when people team up for a common goal.

The building of the ballpark and this is just the first two of a planned four field state-of-the-art complex, became a labor of love for not just the Foundation, but for the Parker area, Denver and beyond. About 1500 volutneers and supporters, representing families, businesses and organizations, along with the Dixey family, all generously contributed to the baseball complex. The land has been leased form the Parker Water and Sanitation District. The 2 completed artificial turf baseball frields are for age 13 and up baseball. Local baseball teams, as well as those coming from throughout the western states, have played at the park. More than 700 games and activities are being played in 2007.

The Foundation has also worked diligently on increasing awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide in the boating industry, and recalls to faulty designs and CO free generators have been developed. While progress is being made, people are still being overcome by carbon monoxide on boats each year, including the first death on Lake Powell in 5 years occuring the summer of 2007.

The Double Angel Foundation is dedicated to guiding children in the fulfillment of their dreams through the joy of recreation and the love of “The Game".

It is our vision to construct and maintain a baseball complex to serve our expanding community, where youth can share team spirit and a full sense of accomplishment. Our purpose is to enhance self-esteem, while fostering good sportsmanship, leadership and citizenship through team play. In addition, our intention is to develop special needs programs and offer scholarship opportunities. At the forefront of our efforts will be the need to provide ongoing awareness of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning.
